Below is a list of equipment that we use in our kitchen. With so many options when it comes to kitchen gadgets, it's difficult to decide which will be the best value for money or actually the most useful.
You shouldn't feel you need to spend a fortune on equipment, especially before you know if you will need it!
From our point of view, it's better to buy a small amount of the right equipment instead of wasting time and money buying kit you won't end up using.
Where possible, we register as affiliates for the products and services we use & recommend. Victorinox Knives
Having used and recommended Victorinox knives for over 20 years, we can safely say that these knives offer excellent value for money and are a great work horse. We never recommend buying large knife sets, as a small collection of these knives is all you will need to take on any job.
The black Fibrox handle model are dishwasher safe and designed for commercial kitchens, though you may prefer the feel and style of their rosewood handle range (keep them away from the dishwasher!).
Below are our recommendations, in order of priority that you should purchase them.
